Wednesday – Poochadise Flyball
Beginneers Course teaches you the rules and techniques to take part in this fun and fast paced activity. Once you have completed the Beginners course, you and your dog can progress to the Intermediate level and compete to try and beat the record for the fastest Flyball dog in Holt – and who knows maybe start competing professionally.
Sundays – Scent work: Detection
A fantastic opportunity to teach your dog how to detect different scents, how to search different locations for particular scents and how to alert you to them successfully finding the chosen scents. The course is broken down into scent indication, bag searches, article searches, car searches (weather/location dependent), pipe searches and scent bag finds.
The course holds up to 5 dogs plus handlers but 121 sessions can be arranged
Sundays – Fun Heelwork to Music
Fun Heelwork to Music is a 12 week course which takes place on Sunday evenings at Holt Village Hall at 6.30pm. This course focuses on trick training and heel work whilst sequencing moves together into a dance routine to the fantastic track ‘This Is Me’ from The Greatest Showman. This course may be light hearted but you need to show willing to practice the moves in between sessions to grow your dogs confidence. Your dog needs to have a sound level of heel training (doesn’t have to be perfect!) to attend this course.
The course holds up to 5 dogs plus handlers and a ‘Intro to Heelwork To Music’ workshop is available if you’d like a taster session prior to signing up or to see if your dog (and you!) enjoy it!
